Sustainability in the textile chemistry industry - what is that about? It is about responsibility, labour rights and legal requirements in the textile industry. It is about environmental protection, about usage and impact of textile chemicals and about renewable materials. It is about transparency in the complex global value chain.

This is exactly where this innovative, English-taught Master‘s program comes in. During your studies, you acquire the skills needed to create (more) sustainable processes in textile chemistry. You develop solutions for non-hazardous alternative chemicals, optimized production processes and conduct research on innovative finishing processes and materials.

The preconditions on our Campus Münchberg are ideal. In our department, textile engineering and design work closely together. We are equipped to conduct lectures in presence as well as in interactive online meetings. Our Institute for Material Sciences (ifm), the brand-new technical centre for textile research and the local Fraunhofer application center for textile fiber ceramics provide an excellent framework for applied research.

Our university offers an attractive and open-minded study environment, especially for international students. As a practice-oriented University of Applied Sciences, the employability of our graduates is the main focus of our teaching. All our professors have at least five years of professional experience in management positions.
