The DAAD opened its Information Centre at the Novosibirsk State Technical University (NGTU) in 2001. The centre is responsible for the DAAD’s programme activities in the entire Siberian region.

The DAAD Information Centre offers the following services:

  • General information about the higher education and research sector in Germany
  • Information and advising on funding programmes offered by the DAAD, German universities and other German institutions and intermediary organisations
  • Information on partnerships between German and Russian universities and transnational higher education cooperation
  • Organisation and implementation of events (seminars, education fairs, academic conferences)
  • Participation at education fairs
  • Administration of the Test OnDaf in cities which do not have specialised testing centres
  • Support of the DAAD Alumni Club in Novosibirsk

We also offer scholarship advising sessions at the Novosibirsk State Technical University (Akademgorokok).
